Moreno Fruzzetti

Moreno Fruzzetti, a native of Pisa, Italy has been capturing the ears and hearts of fans worldwide for over 30 years.

At the young age of just 7, he learned to play the accordion by ear and later, drums. He began playing with local bands throughout Italy and later toured in places such as Holland, England, Germany, and Switzerland. Moreno got his first taste of success in the early 70’s with the formation of the band ‘I Rogers’ and their national No. 1 hit in Italy, “Guarda”. Just as he took to instruments, he quickly developed as a singer and brought his solo career to America in 1975. Playing in concerts and festivals across the globe, he has been able to share with us his passion for all genre’s of music. His sound and style have evolved over the years, and with 18 albums recorded to date.

Moreno Fruzzetti currently resides in New Jersey, and with his latest album Sentimenti, recorded in Pisa, Italy, he is sure to amaze his fans once again.

 



Beatrice Gilbert

This marvellous lyric soprano was born in Naples, Italy and grew up in Annapolis, MD. After high school, she began her studies at The Peabody Conservatory. Bea is continuing her studies on a music degree from York College in Pennsylvania, where she studies privately with well-known soprano Linda Anderson-Baer. She has performed with the Capital Opera Company in Harrisburg, PA, in GianCarlo Menotti's The Medium and Giacomo Puccini's Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi. Bea is also resident soprano and featured soloist with the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra. She has headlined many traditional Italian American festivals throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. Mr. Jonathan Jansen will perform as pianist accompaniment.

The Flying V's are a sensational family circus act making their grand debut at Festa Italiana. Ringmaster Mike LaMarra and his beautiful five multi talented daughters teach all your big top favorites like riding unicycles, balancing on rolling globes, juggling, contortion and much more. The Flying V's have successfully performed at the White House, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Kings Dominion, Wolftrap, the Special Olympics and most recently the 2008 Washington D.C.
